Description
✨Georgia O’keeffe✨
This term in Junior Art we will be exploring the life and work of American artist Georgia O’keeffe, whose iconic paintings of flowers, open deserts and bleached bones were prized for their stunning beauty and elegance.
Across our eight-week term we will be using pastels to create works that capture the soft tonal forms and delicate colours of O’keefee’s work. We will learn about the application of sharp and soft edges, the subtle layering and blending of colours and hone our observational drawing skills as we closely examine succulents, cactus flowers and skulls.
Our small class size of only 12, means that each student will get the feedback and attention they need in order to achieve their best outcome.
