Join comics-maker Campbell Whyte as we dig deep into the techniques and materials used to create Manga.

In this eight week course, we will be studying the iconic series, ASTRO BOY by the ‘God of Manga’, Osamu Tezuka. From page layout and pen types to toning and lettering. We’ll explore all the different techniques that Tezuka uses to bring their incredible series to life.

Across eight sessions, each student will work towards creating their own short Astro Boy adventure. At the end of the term, everyone’s stories will be collected and printed as one action-packed anthology that can be taken home.

Our small class size of only 12, means that each student will get the feedback and attention they need in order to achieve their best outcome.

Saturday morning session runs at 11.30am – 1.00pm from the 10th of May until the 28th of June

Sunday morning session runs at 10:30am – 12:00midday from the 11th of May until the 29th of June

This course is recommended for ages 7+
