This holidays in Comics Quest we’re going to celebrating the wide world of Newspaper Comics! From the iconic, Pogo, the bizarre Far Side and the splendour of Little Nemo in Slumberland, we’re going to be exploring their breadth and creativity.

Across eight different activities, we will be exploring both fundamental comics making skills as well as advanced drawing techniques. Essential skills such as narrative pacing, choosing the right moment for each panel and dialogue will be taught in depth alongside anatomy, perspective, shading and much more.

Comics Quest is a comics making course like no other. Part collaborative story telling, part technical skill building and all adventure. This course is well suited for those keen on developing new skills and having lots of fun.

Comics is an incredible medium that combines aspects of visual arts, graphic design, calligraphy and literature into something wholly unique.

Our small class size of only 12, means that each student will get the feedback and attention they need in order to achieve their best outcome.

All materials and an afternoon tea fruit platter will be provided for each day. Please bring a nut free snack and lunch as well as a water bottle.

9.00am – 3.00pm on Tuesday 15th of April and Wednesday 16th of April
