This term in Junior Art we will be exploring the delightful Studio Ghibli movie, Ponyo!

Across our eight week term we will be studying the simple character line-work and exquisitely detailed backgrounds that are the hallmark of Studio Ghibli’s work.  We will learn the the incredible painting and layering techniques of Studio Ghibli artists including animation cells, and how they’re applied to underwater scenes as we paint and assemble our very own shadow boxes.

Our small class size of only 12, means that each student will get the feedback and attention they need in order to achieve their best outcome.

Saturday morning session runs at 9.30am – 11.00am from the 20th of July until the 14th of September

This course is recommended for ages 7+

Instalment Payments: We welcome flexible instalment payments over the term. At the check out, simply let us know how you’d like to break up the payments and choose the Direct Deposit option. It couldn’t be easier!

Important Note: There will be a break in this course over the weekend of the 27th and 28th of July as we will be busy delivering the annual Perth Comic Arts Festival. We encourage all students to take part in this incredible event that we co-founded and run.
