This holidays in Applied Art we will be taking a deep dive into the world of the adorable to distill the formula for what makes cute things cute!
Across two full days we’ll be analysing the masters of cute – like Sanrio, Miffy and Pusheen. By studying the formula for cute we will soft-sculpt our way through a range of delightful projects. First, we’ll sculpt a large, felted Pompompurin with a beret lid that will act as a storage container for a flurry of pom-pom cutie friends that we’ll make.
Then, we’ll use the cute-formula we’ve learnt to design and make our own soft sculpture friends that can join the others.
