Join comics-maker Campbell Whyte as we dig deep into the techniques and materials used to create Manga.
Over two days we will be studying the explosive and playful work of Masashi Tanaka, creator of the beloved series Gon. From page layout and pen types to toning and lettering. We’ll explore all the different techniques that Toriyama uses to bring their incredible series to life.
This masterclass is a perfect deep-dive for both those that are just beginning their journey into the comics-making, as well as those who have been experimenting for years.
Our small class size of only 12, means that each student will get the feedback and attention they need in order to achieve their best outcome.
Saturday morning session runs at 11.30am – 1.00pm from the 5th of February until the 26th of March
Thursday afternoon session runs at 4.00pm – 5.30pm from the 10th of February until the 31st of March
This course is recommended for ages 10+
