*Term 1* Junior Art with Elizabeth Marruffo

✨ Yoshitomo Nara✨

In Junior Art this term we will be looking at the life and art of the incredible Japanese artist, Yoshitomo Nara who was influenced by manga and anime art to create his iconic soft, pastel and dreamy portraits.

Through painting and drawing we will create many pastel hued portraits looking closely at anime eyes. We will practice some poetry to add to our paintings and make a small, soft sculpture of his iconic red-nosed white dog.

Our small class size of only 12, means that each student will get the feedback and attention they need in order to achieve their best outcome.

Thursday afternoon session runs at 4:00pm – 5:30pm from the 8th of February until the 28th of March

Saturday morning session runs at 9.30am – 11.00am from the 3rd of February until the 23rd of March

This course is recommended for ages 7+
