Description
✨The Strange World of Louise Bourgeois✨
This term in Junior Art we will be making work inspired by the life and work of the French-American artist Louise Bourgeois.
We will examine the beauty of her textile work, the wonder of her soft sculptures and the strange and dream-like worlds she depicted. We will experiment with her techniques of cutting up and reassembling fabrics to make our own soft toy and cosy sleeping bag,
Our small class size of only 12, means that each student will get the feedback and attention they need in order to achieve their best outcome.
Saturday afternoon session 1 runs at 1.30pm – 3.00pm from the 4th of February until the 25th of March
Saturday afternoon session 2 runs at 3.30am – 5.00am from the 4th of February until the 25th of March
This course is recommended for ages 7+
