10.00am – 4.00pm 8th + 9th of October
Join us on a two-day celebration of the incredible films of Studio Ghibli as we craft, sculpt and paint our way through their magical stories.
Through sewing, embroidery, wet felting and soft sculpture, we will craft adorable soft sculptures inspired by the delightful characters of My Neighbour Totoro. Then, we will be exploring the stunning landscape painting techniques they use in films such as Princess Mononoke, as we create our very own, layered shadow box.
This masterclass is a perfect deep-dive for crafty kids who love to explore different art making processes. Our small class size of only 10, means that each student will get the feedback and attention they need in order to achieve their best outcome.
All materials and an afternoon tea fruit platter will be provided for each day. Please bring a nut free snack and lunch as well as a water bottle.
This course is suitable for students aged 8 and above (sharp needles are used)
10.00am – 4.00pm on Thursday 8th and Friday 9th of October
