12:00pm – 2:00pm 30th of April
Join Milktooth and their good friends at Nood Co. as we explore the incredible properties of concrete as we cast our own beautiful Dream Boat sculptures.
This fun workshop will introduce students to the process of mold making, pouring, casting and setting. Each students will cast their own Dream Boat and stacking block passengers to take home. Each sculptural element has been carefully designed by Milktooth founder Elizabeth Marruffo and then filled with the delightful coloured concrete of Nood Co.
In this workshop, students will:
– Make colour choices for their sculptures
– Mix concrete powder and liquid dyes
– Measuring quantities and mixing by hand
– Carefully pour liquid concrete into silicone molds
– Remove set, hardened concrete from the silicone molds
– Decorate concrete sculptures using a variety of drawing materials
Our small class ratio of 1 teacher to 8 students, means that each student will get the feedback and attention they need in order to achieve their best outcome.
