Milktooth is run by husband and wife team Elizabeth Marruffo and Campbell Whyte with the help of their son, dog and a tank full of fish.

They both hold university degrees in Visual Art and have years of experience in delivering high quality kids art classes and workshops. Their clients include The Red Cross, Awesome Arts , Hyper Vision, Edith Cowan University, University of Western Australia as well as countless libraries and schools.

All staff have Working With Children Checks and police clearances.

 

Elizabeth Marruffo grew up in a small border town in Sonora, Mexico. She emigrated to England at 7 years old, and then to Australia when she was 13. Elizabeth works predominantly in the medium of painting, but includes small sculptures in her immersive installations. Elizabeth completed post-graduate studies at Edith Cowan University where she graduated with first class honours. She has had solo shows at Turner Galleries in Perth and Friends of Leon Gallery in Sydney.

In 2013 she won the Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital award and is represented in the collections of Edith Cowan University, St John of God hospital, Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital and the Education department of WA.

Campbell Whyte was born in Perth and has lived here for most of his life. Campbell works predominantly in comics and illustration using a mixture of traditional media such as inks and watercolour that are then combined with digital elements. Campbell completed a Bachelor of Visual Arts at Edith Cowan University. He has held significant shows at Freerange gallery, Light Grey Art Lab in Minneapolis and has taken part in a wide range of group shows both nationally and internationally.

Campbell has been awarded the DCA Young People and the Arts Fellowship, a DCA Development Grant and an Australia Council Jump Mentorship. Campbell is currently completing the illustrations for his graphic novel, Home Time, which is set to be published by Top Shelf Productions, U.S.A.
